Rector Humberto Veras Godoy presented Recuentos de sucesos. Three centuries of institutional life through its ephemeris.
The book includes more than five thousand data recorded as ephemeris of what has happened over 287 years. A documentary and visual research that will lead the reader to discover not only its past, but also that of other generations, as well as events that have marked the destiny of the UAEH.
Humberto Veras Godoy, rector of the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo (UAEH), presented the book Recuentos de sucesos. Three centuries of institutional life through its ephemeris, as part of the University Book Fair (FUL).
In its content, the written compendium also refers to the first years of the nascent state of Hidalgo and, consequently, of the creation of the Literary Institute and Schools of Arts and Crafts, marked on March 3, 1869.
In the presentation of the book, he explained that in the recounting of events the reader will discover dates and facts of the transformation of the Literary Institute and School of Arts and Crafts to the State Scientific and Literary Institute, which took place on July 1, 1890 by means of Decree number 124 of the State Congress, approved previously.
