Successful Second Blues Festival at FUL 2012
A total of five groups attended the Second Blues Festival. On this occasion, Pachuca was represented by Reber Blues Band, Casta de Lobos and Mid Nigth Blues; from Mexico City, Ensamble Ardiente and Follaje offered the audience the best of their repertoire for more than two hours.
The blues is a vocal and instrumental musical genre, based on a repetitive pattern that usually follows a twelve-bar structure. The genre, which never goes out of style, was enjoyed with great enthusiasm by the attendees.
According to BB King, a favorite exponent of the genre, "the blues is life, as we live it today, as we have lived it in the past, we will always have a place to play the guitar and there is always a place to sing the blues".
