Opening Ceremony of the 25th FUL
Juan Crisóstomo Doria Humanities Award 2012 to Cristina Pacheco
In a festive atmosphere, the Autonomous University of the State of Hidalgo (UAEH) opened the doors of the 25th University Book Fair (FUL), which took place from August 24 to September 2 at the University Sports Center "Carlos Martínez Balmori" in the City of Knowledge.
At the same ceremony, the Juan Crisóstomo Doria Humanities Award was presented to journalist Cristina Pacheco, an award granted by the UAEH in recognition of her valuable contribution to national culture and her important journalistic career.
After receiving the medal, a parchment and an economic incentive that comprise this award, the awardee expressed her emotion for receiving the award and said she was intimately related to this land. She said she will honor the award by doing her work as she has always done, with passion and dedicating all her time to it.
