The book "The other Mexico" by writer and political analyst Ricardo Raphael was presented as part of the activities of the University Book Fair (FUL) 2012 of the Autonomous University of the State of Hidalgo (UAEH).
The text makes a diagnosis of the current situation in Mexico regarding issues such as: insecurity, violence and the repetition and imitation of stereotypes or characters relatively considered as leaders or bosses, from different scenarios.
The writer also narrated anecdotes of his trip through Baja California, Sinaloa, Durango, Chihuahua and Ciudad Juárez, offering an impressive panorama of a territory of intense contrasts, where beauty and violence, glory and misery coexist.
The other Mexico reveals an area to be explored, a country to be discovered. A region in the spotlight, not only for its current complex situation, but also for the mystery that surrounds it, making a series of reflections on the coinciding identities of characters of the public and political sphere of the country.
