Women's Song Festival, culmination of FUL 2012
In an atmosphere of melancholy, romanticism and fantasy with the accompaniment of women trova lovers: Pya, singer-songwriter from Hidalgo, Caludia Elizalde from Monterrey, Adriana Santiago from Guadalajara, Ana Ruiz and Nur Slim from Mexico City and Charlene Arián from Puerto Rico, the Festival Femenino de la Canción took place.
The participation of Santa Morena, the female duet formed by Niurka Curbelo and Ivette Guadarrama, who presented a fresh proposal with a unique style of contemporary women, was a surprise on stage.
With thoughtful lyrics in their songs and a captive audience captivated by the musical and interpretative quality of young lovers of the Trova, they enjoyed an evening full of sentimentality.
Through their music, the singer-songwriters gave off their feminine essence at every moment in front of a mostly young audience that repeatedly chanted the verses of romantic melodies.
