The University Book Fair has been contributing to this great effort for 33 years. Promoted by the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo and its Board of Trustees, year after year the FUL has a general program with more than 290 activities divided into subprograms: Academic, Artistic, Ceremonies, Publishing, Booksellers Meeting, Poetry Meeting, Translators Meeting, Ful Niños, Ful Tubers, Ilustraful, Artificial Intelligence, University Library Conference, Guest Country and Acknowledgements.

This collection of stories chronicles the colonization of Mars by mankind, which leaves Earth in successive waves of silver rockets and dreams of reproducing on the red planet a civilization of hot dogs, comfortable sofas and lemonade on the porch at sunset. But the colonists also bring with them the diseases that will decimate the Martians and show little respect for a mysterious and fascinating planetary culture, which they will try to protect from the rapacity of the Earthlings.

Guy Montag is a fireman and a fireman's job is to burn books, which are forbidden because they are a cause of discord and suffering. The Mechanical Hound of the Fire Department, armed with a lethal hypodermic injection, escorted by helicopters, is prepared to track down dissidents who still keep and read books. Like George Orwell's 1984, like Aldous Huxley's Brave New World, Fahrenheit 451 depicts a Western civilization enslaved by media, tranquilizers and conformity.

This novel is almost the story of a degradation. Rousseau said of man that he is born naturally good and is perverted by contact with society. London applies this to the animal world. White Fang, the wild wolf-dog who knows no laws other than those of nature, will sharpen his instincts of ferocity or violence in the image and likeness of men. If the wolf-dog had thought like men, says London, he would have described life as a voracious appetite, and the world as a chaos governed by luck, impiety and chance in an endless process. Fortunately, White Fang found the lord of love on the verge of death.

The first installment of the collection "Complete Short Stories" by Isaac Asimov, which includes forty-six short titles. What any reader, among the thousands of Asimov's readers, among the thousands of followers of Asimov's work, had always longed for: to have at their fingertips the vast production of short stories that the author came to elaborate.
