"The Most Beautiful Country" (2018)

The Russian Geographical Society is pleased to announce the exhibition of the winners and finalists of the 4th "The Most Beautiful Country" Photo Contest.

This annual competition aims to preserve Russia's wildlife and reward environmentally friendly practices through the art of photography. It was first held in 2015 and is held annually thereafter. Participants are of various ages and from different countries. The main condition is that the photographs must be taken on Russian territory. The contest had 8,000 participants from Russia and other countries in 2018, who sent about 47,000 images.

The participants' works were evaluated by the jury chaired by Sergey Shoigu, President of the Russian Geographical Society, as well as Konstantin Ernst, Sergei Gorshkov, Andrei Konchalovsky, Zelfira Tregulova, among others.

The exhibition of the competition finalists' works is traveling around the world. Many people from Russia and more than 15 countries have already seen these brilliant photographs - come and see that we really live in the most beautiful country in the world!
