The Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities of the Autonomous University of the State of Hidalgo is home to the research and teaching staff best qualified by national and international systems and repositories in the state.

Here is concentrated the largest generation of scientific products concerning the academic areas of law and jurisprudence, political science and public administration, communication, social work, linguistics, education, history and anthropology, as well as sociology and demography, in the state of Hidalgo, with an undergraduate and graduate educational offer certified for its quality at level 1 of the Interinstitutional Committees for the Evaluation of Higher Education (CIEES) and in the National Graduate Programs of Good Quality (PNPC), respectively.

How can I apply to study at the Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities, ICSHu (undergraduate level)?   

Admission to the Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities (ICSHu), is through the selection exam, a call for applications is issued every semester in February and September; for some degrees there is a second call for applications in June and December: https://www.uaeh.edu.mx/

Does ICSHu offer scholarships?   

Yes, there are three types of scholarships:
  • Federal Maintenance Scholarships, the call for applications is issued in March.
  • The Jovenes Escribiendo el Fututo Scholarship, the call for applications will be issued in the month of March.
  • Support for Mexican mothers who are heads of household to strengthen their professional development (CONACyT), the call for applications is issued in April.
