Requirements Academics

Bachelor's Degree Licenciatura en Ingeniería Civil, Arquitectura o disciplinas afines.
Academic Degree Maestría (grado mínimo requerido): Administración de Proyectos, Gestión de Infraestructura, Ingeniería de la Construcción, Planificación Urbana y Regional.
Doctorado (grado deseable): Administración de Proyectos, Gestión de Infraestructura, Ingeniería de la Construcción o Planificación Urbana y Regional.
Teaching Experience Evidence of 2 years of teaching experience in front of a group at undergraduate level, with a document issued by the Personnel Department or its equivalent of the issuing institution; teaching experience at postgraduate level will also be valued.
Research Experience 1. Contar con experiencia en investigación en áreas de gestión de proyectos, optimización de recursos, Lean Construction, aplicación de BIM en planeación y sostenibilidad en infraestructura.

2. Evidenciar al menos 1 publicación científica por año, en los últimos 3 años (2024, 2023 y 2022, deseable también en el año 2025) tal y como lo establece la convocatoria. Son productos de buena calidad:
  • Refereed articles.
  • Indexed articles.
  • Book chapters.
  • Books.
  • Technical Reports.
3. Participation as speaker or lecturer in national and international academic events in the last 3 years.

4. Have experience in the development of a research project with or without funding in the last 3 years.
Professional Experience Experiencia profesional en el ámbito de la construcción mínima de 3 años en metodologías de gestión de proyectos (PMBOK, Agile, SCRUM, Last Planner System, Lean Construction).
Conocimiento en software de gestión y planeación como MS Project, Primavera P6, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, y plataformas BIM. Capacidad para evaluar costos, presupuestos y análisis de valor agregado en proyectos de infraestructura.
Conocimiento de normativa y reglamentación vigente en contratación pública y privada de proyectos de construcción e infraestructura.
Languages Proof of oral and written communication skills in a language other than Spanish (English level B1 according to the Common European Framework).

Tutoring and Counseling Provide individual and group guidance to students in academic and professional issues, as well as in personal situations that jeopardize the students' academic performance.
Provide academic advising and disciplinary advising as an accompaniment in the development of the integrative project.
Management and Collegiate Bodies As a full-time professor, you will develop individual and collegial management activities; among them:
-Participation in academies
-Updating subject programs and study plans.
Follow-up of national and international accreditation processes of the educational program.
-Organization of academic events
Link As a full-time professor, you will develop liaison activities, such as:
-Study trips
-National and international academic mobility
-Teaching of homologation courses, disciplinary courses, and continuing education courses.
