Requirements Academics

Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field
Academic Degree Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
PhD in Computer Science.
Teaching Experience Evidence of 2 years of teaching experience in front of a group at undergraduate level, with a document issued by the Personnel Department or its equivalent of the issuing institution; teaching experience at postgraduate level will also be valued.
Research Experience Research experience in machine learning, data science, advanced data analysis, artificial intelligence applications and/or development, natural language processing, or related areas.

2. Evidence at least 1 scientific publication per year, in the last 3 years (2024, 2023 and 2022) as stated in the call. They are products of good quality:
  • Refereed articles.
  • Indexed articles.
  • Book chapters.
  • Books.
  • Technical Reports.
3. Participation as speaker or lecturer in national and international academic events in the last 3 years.

4. Have experience in the development of a research project with or without funding in the last 3 years.
Professional Experience It is desirable to have verifiable non-teaching professional experience in at least one of the following areas:
  • Development of software or web pages.
  • Data processing.
  • Use of advanced artificial intelligence applications
  • Programming in java, c, or others
Languages Proof of oral and written communication skills in a language other than Spanish (English level B1 according to the Common European Framework).

Provide academic advising and disciplinary advising as an accompaniment in the development of the integrative project.
Management and Collegiate Bodies As a full-time professor, you will develop individual and collegial management activities; among them:
-Participation in academies
-Updating subject programs and study plans.
Follow-up of national and international accreditation processes of the educational program.
-Organization of academic events
Link As a full-time professor, you will develop liaison activities, such as:
-Study trips
-National and international academic mobility
-Teaching of homologation courses, disciplinary courses, and continuing education courses.
-Participation in institutional events
-Manage linkages with the business and governmental sectors.
