The Board of Trustees of the Autonomous University of the State of Hidalgo is governed as the strength of support, backing and management in the face of the challenges that Hidalgo's highest house of studies faces every day, due to its social commitment, its historical tradition, its positive influence on education, culture and the development of public life in general in the state, as well as its humanistic and scientific vocation to improve the quality of life of all people, being our university the vehicle of transformation par excellence for the people of Hidalgo.
This board of trustees is the meeting place between the university and the most outstanding and diverse sectors of society so that together we can strengthen our institution and be a bridge between the university and other institutions in Mexico and other countries, in order to establish and develop relationships and cooperation mechanisms that offer better conditions and new opportunities to the university community.
Circumstances place us on top of the current situation of our country and, with a clear vision, they show us the right path to win the future through foresight, planning and the correct deployment of our potential and capabilities, in order to continue overcoming diverse challenges.
In a time of great changes, new challenges, opportunities and questions, our institution is at the forefront and increasingly ensures the fulfillment of its mission, which requires us to provide optimal conditions for all the people who make up the university community and promote options for growth and welfare in different areas to society in general.
If in the past we were able to assert our constitutional autonomy, today it is imperative to achieve our financial autonomy to continue the growth of our university and build together the growth of Hidalgo and Mexico.
Mission
Contribute to the consolidation of the financial autonomy of the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo, generate better conditions and benefits for the university community based on the performance and merits of its members in the fulfillment of their responsibilities, and strengthen the presence, recognition and image of our institution, through the design and development of new projects and funding sources; the creation of complementary systems of stimuli and incentives for academic staff, students, officials and administrative workers; the establishment and development of new relationships and cooperation mechanisms with institutions in Mexico and other countries; and the reformulation and strengthening of university extension tasks.
Vision
The Board of Trustees has become an obligatory and prestigious reference as an efficient, transparent and solvent institution in the generation of new funds for the university and in the preservation of its patrimony; it provides the university community with better conditions for the performance of its responsibilities and new benefits based on the merits of its members; has a broad and solid network of institutional relations and offers new cooperation mechanisms to obtain funds that strengthen the fulfillment of the university's goals and substantive functions; and supports the university's outreach activities to maintain our institution in a position of leadership and recognition in the dissemination of knowledge and culture.
