Culture, politics and society. A kaleidoscopic and multidisciplinary vision.

The book Culture, politics and society. Una visión calidoscópica y multidisciplinar brings together a varied set of texts with a common link: their concern for cultural, political and social aspects. In this regard, the first four articles are grouped into two sections: democracy and society (1), and political action and citizen participation (2). The main topics addressed are clearly oriented towards political issues, without neglecting related cultural and social aspects. The third section, methodological and theoretical studies (3), is the one with the largest number of texts, four to be precise. In this section we find articles of diverse nature, but with a specific interest in methodological elaboration, in the case of Schmidt's text, or theoretical in the case of the other three. All of them show the authors' concern for social and cultural issues, but also political ones, either in concrete approaches or in consequences deriving from their own theoretical or methodological construction.
