Abstract

Western industrial societies have regarded work as the central pillar of their pragmatic and subjective foundations for their growth and latency. This centrality understood as "the set of beliefs, definitions and value that individuals and groups attribute to work" formed the basis of action orientation and value for the maintenance of the economic and social order.
