Abstract
Intervention becomes present when, due to the conditions of social inequality, the need arises to contribute to improve the quality of life of those who, due to different circumstances, have been victims of economic, political, social and even natural movements, arising in different circumstances; also, as part of the relationship established with the other, of the behaviors, facts or phenomena, in certain spaces. In this regard, Carballeda argues that intervention takes place in "strange scenarios, characterized by social fragmentation and the irruption of new forms of exclusion" (Garello & Ponzone, p. 67). It is necessary to reflect on the need to intervene in the face of new challenges and integrate them into the pending agendas, especially in the globalizing environment that currently marks the steps of modern society, in which new problems continue to be generated and existing ones are exacerbated. It is worthwhile to permanently build strategies that focus attention on the different social sectors, questioning aspects such as: What to do in the face of new complex and changing contexts? In the face of these questions, there is a need to propose significant changes that include knowledge to respond to those problems that, due to economic, political, social, cultural and even environmental circumstances, alter the stability of social dynamics, making them priorities for intervention.
