Abstract


Various problems and needs afflict our Mexico today, in which talking about violence necessarily requires special care based on the context that currently frames it. This situation is not something new, but it has implied a greater attention considering diverse events that allowed to position it as a central issue of public health, which has affected to a great extent the quality of life and has generated deterioration in the social fabric; the causes are multiple, which obey to complex situations in which undoubtedly the family has a leading role in the problem. The objective of this research is to identify social aspects of the family that have an impact on child violence in the municipality of Pachuca de Soto, Hidalgo, in order to propose prevention alternatives aimed at improving the quality of life. A search for statistical data on the problem of violence in institutions in the town of Pachuca was carried out, obtaining information from the registry of cases, which have been reported, being these significant since it is clear that not all cases are exposed to the authorities; likewise, statistical data were consulted in electronic media.
