Abstract

For Social Work, the phenomena observed in society have been a motive for research and later for intervention. This is the case of neighborhood organizations, which we will conceptualize based on what we understand as organization. According to Ezequiel Ander Egg (1974), this term refers to social groupings articulated as a whole, with a precise circle of members, an internal differentiation of functions and rationally configured, at least in their intentions, with a view to obtaining a specific result in accordance with their objective purposes.
