Senior citizens in the state of Hidalgo, Mexico: a challenge for Social Work from a public policy perspective.

Currently, one of the challenges for governments and society is the population growth of the elderly, concretized in the demographic profiles in which there is a tendency towards the predominance of the elderly population, not only in Mexico but in the world, a worrying situation due to the enormous backwardness in which this segment of society is currently found, considering for the present work the state of Hidalgo, Mexico.
