The right to social assistance as part of aging. The case of Mexico?

Old age is a stage of life that requires special attention. The State must guarantee assistance policies for this sector of the population, and access to it. This access must be guaranteed from different sectors and through a social security system that contemplates their needs. For this purpose, it is necessary to know the peculiarities of the target population. This paper aims to provide theoretical aspects of this approach, as well as other empirical data that will be useful.
