Abstract
The organization of the most successful commercial coastal fishing cooperatives located in the North Pacific zone of the El Vizcaino Biosphere Reserve is described. The actions that the inhabitants carry out are related to the management and management of natural resources, their participation in biodiversity protection, and the benefits they receive from belonging to the cooperatives.
