Abstract
On March 8, 1987, International Women's Day, the monthly supplement Doble Jornada was published in the newspaper La Jornada. This day is an emblematic and significant day for women around the world because since 1911 it has been celebrated in recognition of the women's struggle for our rights and in Mexico it was formalized in 1975 as part of the official commitments of the celebration of the International Women's Year.
