Abstract

In this study, the elements that make up TRIZ and computer-aided ergonomics are presented as a synergy for product innovation. Ergonomics is a scientific discipline, a field of engineering that employs theory, principles, data and design methods to optimize human well-being and overall system performance to match the physiological, anatomical, psychological characteristics and capabilities of human beings. Ergonomics, as a multidisciplinary science, like TRIZ, is a systematically oriented discipline and can be software assisted, with the scopes of design, engineering, manufacturing and simulation of the interactions between humans and the elements of a system.
