Methodology to determine the inspection efficiency by applying the Six Follow Repeatability and Reproducibility (R&R) method: Ceramics Case

This research shows the analysis and practice of the method of Repeatability and Reproducibility (R&R) by attributes in an inspection department of the ceramic sector, in order to propose the tools and situations necessary for its implementation and to verify the degree of efficiency in the sampling of its products. It was necessary to investigate in documents oriented to measurement systems applied in the Six Sigma methodology for the support of this research. As a result of the study are the consequences of the application of the method in the inspection of ceramics, making a reflection of the situation with the traffic light analogy, emphasizing the weak points of the analyzed system and presenting some improvement alternatives.
