Abstract

This paper presents the need to measure the application of best practices of a group of small manufacturing companies in the state of Hidalgo through a maturity model and to be able to establish a benchmarking. The methodology used was based on a research with a mixed, correlational and applied approach, where the proposed design allowed us to develop a diagnosis and evaluation of the practices used. This led to establish the basis for a better ability in the management of the company, sustainability due to the status of each practice and positioning with respect to its competitors, also to know its competitive advantages as it describes its strengths and weaknesses; which is critical to establish a better strategic plan.
