Abstract


One of the evils of the national economy is present when a new business dies. This is a daily phenomenon, all the illusion, the yearnings and purposes of an entrepreneur are frustrated by the ghost of neonatal business mortality, many factors, from the lack of knowledge of the field to be incorporated, the lack of resources to continue, the lack of sales for not being able to clearly define the value proposition and many more that can finally be seen in the result of the business autopsy.According to the figures provided by the center for the development of business competitiveness (CETRO CRECE) in Mexico, 75% of new companies will not reach 3 years of formal activities and after 10 years of this beginning only 10% of the projects survive already mature, successful and growing.Business model Canvas is a tool for the design of the business model, a fundamental factor that allows the entrepreneur's efforts to be clearly oriented so as not to lose direction and to be able to define the correct functioning of the newly initiated project in a timely manner. It is possible to assume that not having a defined business model and not knowing in detail the value proposition offered to the client are definitive factors of failure for the newly born Mexican companies.
