Carbon sequestration in soils.

This paper discusses the report Carbon sequestration in soils for improved land management[1] , which analyzes the potential of agricultural, forest and pasture soils to act as carbon sinks. First, the current dynamics of this element in soils and the factors that regulate it are reviewed; then management measures are proposed for each land use and finally an analysis of the proposed alternatives is made.
