Abstract
A client-server model system is presented, which implements the RSA algorithm for public key encryption and the Huffman algorithm for the compression of plain text files, images, video, and files generated by applications: Word, Excel, Power Point, etc. The system is developed entirely in Java, using the TCP/IP communication protocol for sending packets, sockets and multithreads processing.
