Ethics in the educational space.

The ethical training of professionals who educate in Higher Education Institutions is an urgent challenge that Mexico must assume. This challenge goes beyond the frontier of ethical codes, towards an integral formation in three dimensions: the professional, the citizen and the institutional. Universities must integrate ethics into their curricula and the institution as a fundamental part of the educational process and of coexistence inside and outside the classroom. In addition, new professionals should not be mere technical experts, they should be socially committed people. The paper presented here is an account of this new reality, so some indications on how to face it will be offered.
