(2010). Results of the Study of Graduates of the Bachelor's Degree in History of Mexico. UAEH: Mexico
Abstract
One of the fundamental objectives of the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo is to improve the quality of all its academic processes by carrying out various actions that help to know and evaluate the results obtained, in order to establish and implement mechanisms to adapt its programs to the new demands and expectations that society requires. For this reason, the Institutional University Quality Plan (PICU) establishes among its priorities the need to design a program in the institution, which allows it to know in a statistical and reliable way the trajectory of the professional practice of its graduates.Among other relevant aspects, the Integral Program for Institutional Strengthening (PIFI) in its version 2.0 refers to the permanent graduate follow-up program, where it establishes the mechanisms to structure an operating system capable of concentrating the necessary information so that the academic bodies have planning and consultation instruments available, with the purpose of providing feedback and adapting academic projects to the requirements of the labor market. The questionnaire of the National Association of Universities and Institutions of Higher Education (ANUIES) has been taken as a reference and under the guidelines derived from the agreement of this institution, this instrument is applied to a random sample of graduates, deriving the results obtained from their answers.
