Abstract

The research is presented in 15 blocks. The first one recreates Hermila Galindo's reaction to the news in the press about the assassination of Venustiano Carranza in Tlaxcalantongo, Puebla. The way in which she met the man who was first Chief of the Constitutionalist Army and later President of the Republic is recorded. In the intermediate blocks, an account is given of Hermila Galindo's life, her years in Durango and Torreón, Coahuila, her move to the capital of the country, her meeting with Carranza, her courageous work in favor of feminism, her tasks as a disseminator of constitutionalism inside and outside the country, her campaign to obtain what would have been the first federal deputation won by a woman. The penultimate block records the death by heart attack of the paradigmatic woman who sustained her ideas until the last second of her life. The last block includes Hermila's Credo, her profession of faith before life.
