Abstract

Describing from a gender perspective the presence of men and women in journalism allows us to confirm differences and inequality, but also to explain them in order to make both visible in the press scenarios. This is a task that few researchers have done, which has led to the assumption that female participation has been minor or minimal, when it has always been different, and our intention is to combine the history of journalism in the third person plural to describe male and female participation, to note differences and similarities, progress and setbacks, inequalities and equity.
