Abstract
In this paper, we analyze how the use of technology can provide opportunities for students to develop thinking insights to explore the irrationality of the square root of primes and support the construction of relationships among different mathematical concepts and results, which according to Hiebert et al. [7], is a central element for learning with understanding.
