Selective recovery of DORE (Au-Ag) from mineral leaching solutions using an electrochemical reactor FM01-LC. XVIII SMEQ National Congress; Chihuahua, Chihuahua, May 26-30, 2003. ISBN 968-5742-01-4.
Abstract
In this research work, a fundamental systematic study of the processes involved in the electrochemical recovery of gold and silver from cyanide leaching solutions with low values of these metals is carried out. The information obtained in these fundamental studies is applied to an electrochemical reactor FM01-LC, to verify the selective recovery of gold and silver (dore) in industrial leaching solutions and to establish the operational conditions of such reactor. Likewise, the characterization of the reactor is performed through dimensionless correlations of the convective mass transport processes and the current efficiency e is evaluated for the precious metal recovery process.
