Dr. Teresa Romero Cortés

Dr. Teresa Romero Cortés is a full time professor-researcher (PTC) at the Escuela Superior de Apan, Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo, Hidalgo, Mexico. He is the author of 19 articles, 6 books, 4 book chapters and different national and international congresses. He has participated in the training of human resources in master and bachelor thesis with research projects related to plant-microorganism interaction, characterization of bioprocesses, application of biochemical and molecular biology techniques for the identification of microorganisms.

She has the level 1 recognition (2020-2022) granted by the National System of Researchers-CONACyT and with the desirable profile granted by the Ministry of Public Education (SEP; 2012 to date). He belongs to the academic body in consolidation "Molecular Biosciences (UAEH-CA-100)". She obtained the Merit Garza medal 2017, 2018 at UAEH for contribution to teaching and research.

Hidalgo Science, Technology and Innovation Award 2017 for merit "Scientific Research" for his scientific contribution in control strategies for the infestation of the maguey plant, with the project "Characterization of the microbiota associated with Scyphophorus acupunctatus (weevil) and soft rot in Agave salmiana".
