The University Book Fair is the most important publishing and cultural event in the State of Hidalgo, with special emphasis on the promotion of books and reading, and its inclusion in the publishing market, which has allowed FUL to position itself as one of the most important book fairs in Mexico, with a trajectory of more than three decades. In 2022, the 35th edition of the University Book Fair will be innovative, taking place in both on-site and virtual formats, with a program of activities that addresses issues of global relevance.

Water is the most important element for life. It is of utmost importance to ensure the availability of water and its sustainable management and sanitation for all. Water scarcity affects more than 40% of the world's population and this percentage could increase.

The HIV/AIDS pandemic has highlighted the vital importance of sanitation, hygiene and adequate access to clean water to prevent and contain disease. Hand hygiene saves lives. According to the World Health Organization, hand washing is one of the most effective actions that can be taken to reduce the spread of pathogens and prevent infections, including the COVID-19 virus. Yet billions of people lack access to safe water and sanitation, and funding is insufficient.
