The Cultural Extension Division, linked to the different extension departments of the University, is a university institution of regional and national reference that is distinguished by its sports, cultural and editorial programs developed under principles of quality and social relevance, and is recognized for its physical infrastructure and human capital for the creation, research and promotion of culture and sports, complying with the globalizing demands of development.
To contribute to the integral development of the university community and the society of Hidalgo through cultural promotion, the encouragement of sports and intellectual production to generate a more just and democratic society formed by individuals who develop creative thinking, critical spirit, appreciation for the arts, science, sports, the environment and cultural diversity, in an environment of respect, honesty, tolerance and social commitment.
