Historical Background
In compliance with the new Organic Law of the University, as of 2017, by mandate of the Honorable University Council, in extraordinary session of March 10, 2017, under minute 333, a new structure is included in the current General Statute, which gives rise to the Directorate of Liaison with Alumni, in its FOURTH TITLE, Chapter 2, Fourth Section, Article 94, Fractions X, XI; and Article 95, Fraction VI.
The presence of graduates is significantly important as a link between the productive and social sectors that allows obtaining today tangible results of cooperation, generating a greater impact of an adequate internal and external linkage, in the medium and long term, to adapt and redesign the schemes that in the past have been efficient and in the future threaten to be the opposite. We intend to consider and implement strategies applied in high school, higher education and graduate programs that allow us to achieve efficiency in the process of linkage between the University and the different sectors for the benefit of our graduates and society, not only quantitatively, but also qualitatively.
