Direction of Academic Improvement
The Direction of Academic Improvement belongs to the Academic Division of the Autonomous University of the State of Hidalgo, is responsible for developing, promoting, teaching and certifying academic improvement programs for faculty to improve teaching and learning.
The Directorate of Academic Improvement in the Institutional Development Plan 2018 - 2023 has the following strategic objectives:
- Strengthen the teaching and learning process through teacher education, training and updating in knowledge, skills and generic and pedagogical competencies to improve the academic development of students.
- To design, develop, implement and evaluate the training and disciplinary updating of teachers at the upper secondary level in order to improve the teaching process.
- Promote the certification of teachers' communicative competencies at B1, B2 or C1 levels according to the Common Framework of Reference for Languages in order to boost international visibility.
- Strengthen teacher education, training and updating programs in all modalities by updating and certifying the facilitators who teach them, considering national and international standards that contribute to the educational excellence of the Comprehensive Education Strategic Program.
