This Directorate is responsible for several fundamental tasks in our institution, such as assisting the academies by specific purpose of Schools and Institutes for the preparation of the relevance study, in order to support the creation of new educational programs and ensure the quality of the undergraduate programs in operation that enter the stage of curricular redesign.
The Directorate of Relevance Studies joins the efforts of all the Academic Division's departments to contribute to increase the academic quality of the educational offerings of this university.

Steps to follow to request the relevance study
The head of the academic area of the educational program involved verifies in its PDI if the relevance study is scheduled for the year in which it is requested. If the study is not available, it must be considered for the following year.
If the study is programmed correctly, the head of the academic area requests the director of the school or institute to write a letter to the Directorate of Relevance and Feasibility Studies informing him/her of the following:
- The beginning of the relevance study.
- The names of the research professors that will form the academy by specific object and requests the registration of the academy in the garza platform.
- The name of the research professor who will coordinate the relevance study.
- The head of the academic area sends a copy of the official letter to the Directorate of Relevance Studies, at direstpertinencia@uaeh.edu.mx, for the formal initiation of activities.
For University Units
Formal request explaining in detail the type of relevance study required. The request must be accompanied by the corresponding letter. The information is sent to direstpertinencia@uaeh.edu.mx
