Academic and Administrative Staff


Address

Generate and follow up on the policies and guidelines for the teaching and learning of national and foreign languages, in the different modalities and levels, teacher training programs at the UAEH through collegial work in order to strengthen the profile of students as speakers of a language other than their mother tongue.


Subdirection

Supervise, evaluate and link the activities carried out by the coordinations, areas and departments through collaborative work with university departments and external instances in the teaching and learning of languages, ensuring the proper functioning of the Language Center.


Secretarial

Carry out administrative procedures, prepare official letters, memos, information cards, classify documents, schedule appointments for TOEFL "Test of English as a Foreign Language" diagnostic exams, provide adequate attention to internal and external users, schedule and follow up on the different activities.


Administration and finance area

Coordinate, elaborate and follow up on the administrative process, financial and material resources of internal and external projects in which the Language Center participates, in order to provide and have a high quality service in the institution.


Information and Systems Area

Implement technological strategies to clearly and efficiently promote the services, academic, cultural and procedural activities carried out at the Language Center for the benefit of the university community and the general public, in order to strengthen procedures through the creation of systems that optimize the services provided.

Planificar y coordinar estrategias para promover al Centro de Lenguas, gestionar recursos digitales y supervisa la comunicación interna y externa, con el fin de fortalecer la imagen institucional y apoyar los objetivos educativos desde una visión administrativa y tecnológica.


English Pedagogical Coordination

To design, develop and implement the content programs for English subjects as well as define English language proficiency requirements for admission and graduation at the high school, college and graduate levels.


Pedagogical Coordination of Spanish and Other Languages - Language and Culture Coordinator

Integrate, direct and supervise the activities and services related to the teaching and learning of Spanish and other languages at all levels and modalities offered by the UAEH, through the creation of synergies aimed at the mastery of a second language, favoring the vision of internationalization of the institution.


Coordination of Didactic Resources in Languages

Coordinate the heads and departments of content development, publishing, audio, printed and digital materials, as well as legal procedures through the technology and media that each one requires, following specific methodologies for the teaching and learning of English according to the linguistic policies established in the PIL of the UAEH and taking as a reference the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.


French Pedagogical Coordination

French Pedagogical Coordinator and DELF-DALF Certification Manager at the Pachuca Université Autonome Center.


German Pedagogical Coordination

Integrate, direct and supervise the activities and services related to the teaching and learning of German at all levels and modalities offered by the UAEH. Responsible for the international German certification center "Prüfungszentrum Goethe Zertifikat".


English Instructional Design Department

Develop and implement the courses of the English subjects in virtual modality, as well as those that strengthen areas that are identified as weak in the formation of students as speakers of the English language.


Department of English Language Docimology - Evaluation Design Area - Evaluation Follow-Up Area

Design and follow up on English language learning assessment instruments and processes through collegial work and needs analysis to guarantee the achievement of the established language proficiency level.


Departamento de Formación Docente de Inglés

Follow up on English teacher performance through pedagogical evaluation, class observations and training based on the University's English teaching philosophy.


Language Research Department

To develop and disseminate scientific research on the teaching and learning of a second language in order to meet the prevailing and specific training needs in the interdisciplinary field of applied linguistics at the UAEH.


Copyright Protection and Legal Department

Ensure the proper trademark and copyright registration of audio, printed and digital English materials produced by CeL, through the procedures established by INDAUTOR and IMPI for the protection of the moral and patrimonial rights of the parties involved in the development of teaching resources.


Editorial Resources Department

To develop editorial materials and institutional graphic resources for the teaching and learning of English, with the purpose of providing students with books that contribute to the development of the four language skills in accordance with the institutional objectives in congruence with the CEFR, meeting national and international editorial quality standards.


Photography Department

Develop the photographic resources of the didactic materials, implementing the artistic techniques that contribute to the achievement of the objectives of teaching and learning of English, meeting the pedagogical requirements dictated by the creators of the editorial and digital contents.


Illustration Department

Develop illustrative resources for didactic materials, implementing artistic techniques that contribute to the achievement of the objectives of teaching and learning of English, meeting the pedagogical requirements dictated by the creators of the editorial and digital content.


Editorial Design Area

To develop the editorial resources of the didactic materials, implementing the layout techniques that contribute to the achievement of the objectives of teaching and learning of English, meeting the pedagogical requirements dictated by the creators of the editorial contents.


Digital Resources Department

To develop digital materials and institutional technological resources for the teaching and learning of English, with the purpose of providing students with online and downloadable resources that contribute to the development of the 4 language skills in accordance with the institutional objectives in congruence with the CEFR, meeting national and international quality standards.


Web Development Area

Develop the digital resources and activities of the didactic materials, implementing front-end and back-end technologies that contribute to the achievement of the objectives of teaching and learning of English, meeting the pedagogical requirements dictated by the creators of the digital content.


Web Design Department

Develop the digital graphic resources of the didactic materials, implementing front-end web design techniques that contribute to the achievement of the objectives of teaching and learning of English, meeting the pedagogical requirements dictated by the creators of the digital content.


Chief Authoring Officer Platform Materials

Elaborate and validate pedagogical proposals that regulate and guide the development of materials for the teaching and learning of English, taking into account the pedagogical considerations that the digital medium demands.


Printed Materials Authoring Department

To elaborate and validate pedagogical proposals that regulate and guide the development of materials for the teaching and learning of English, taking into account the pedagogical considerations demanded by the printed medium.


Audio Resource Development Department

Create audio materials that complement the printed and digital materials that are generated as part of the institutional didactic resources of English through various technological resources to ensure a professional quality that allows the university community to achieve the institutional standard of listening comprehension at level B1 of the CEFR.


Editorial Development and Publishing Department

Ensure that the contents of English teaching and learning materials in printed format, as well as the audios that complement them, are coherent, congruent and free of spelling and grammatical errors, through constant methodical revisions.


Digital Materials Development and Editing Department

Ensure that the contents of digital English language teaching and learning materials, as well as the audios that complement them, are coherent, consistent and free of spelling and grammatical errors through constant methodical revisions.
