Since its inception in 2000, the Escuela Superior de Ciudad Sahagún is an institution that has distinguished itself for having quality educational programs endorsed by nationally recognized organizations, such as the Bachelor's Degrees in Accounting and Industrial Engineering, which have been awarded level 1 by the Interinstitutional Committees for the Evaluation of Higher Education (CIEES). During its development, it has contributed to the formation of new generations of professionals committed to the study, understanding and solution of the problems presented by the municipalities of the highland region of Hidalgo and the country in general.

Those of us who participate in it, are promoting day by day the honest and responsible work of our community; in addition to undergraduate and high school education, we offer our students the opportunity to stay or study for up to one year in universities in other countries of America, Europe and Asia, through the institutional student mobility program; we continue to favor the work of the academies in decisions that are strongly linked to the promotion of knowledge and the consolidation of values and, in accordance with the main rector's policy, we are strengthening the updating and training of our professors in the areas of English, Research Methodology and Information and Communication Technologies.
