Mission, Vision and Objectives
Mission
To train students integrally with knowledge of general culture, skills and values, with a critical, creative, enterprising, supportive, tolerant and committed attitude towards society and environmental conservation, allowing them to solve real life problems, training them competitively to successfully access higher level studies in national or international institutions.
Vision
High school number 7 is a visible, recognized high school, a reference in the integral formation of students, which is permanently improving, with teachers trained in pedagogical, disciplinary, technological and research areas with strong ethical values, with a consolidated educational program, with state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, reinforced with support programs for students guaranteeing a terminal efficiency above the national average, whose graduates are recognized and accepted in national and international higher education institutions.
Objectives of Preparatory School Number 7
Overall objective
To provide quality high school education, with permanently trained academic, administrative and service personnel, where values and ethical principles prevail, under student-centered teaching-learning processes in order to guarantee the integral formation of students to obtain the competencies that will allow them to continue with their professional preparation.
Specific objectives
- Strengthen student support programs through the professionalization of the personnel responsible for tutoring, guidance and psychology, in order to guarantee a school career of excellence, reduce dropout rates and increase terminal efficiency.
- Consolidate the academic services provided by the school, with the infrastructure, equipment and trained personnel required to contribute to the academic formation of students.
- Encourage the participation of our student community in cultural and sports activities, in order to contribute to their integral formation by promoting a healthy lifestyle.
- To foster values in students that allow them to contribute to the development of their social environment, applying the knowledge, skills and abilities acquired during their academic training.
- To implement the strategic planning processes in the substantive and adjective functions developed in our academic unit, in order to contribute to the fulfillment of the institutional objectives.
