The Tlaxcoapan High School of the UAEH has several areas for the integral development of students, teachers, staff and university community among which are:

  • Science Laboratory: It has 6 work tables, 1 fume hood, 5 sinks, 1 emergency shower, 1 eye wash, 48 benches, 8 microscopes, 1 emergency exit, storage of materials and reagents, 2 fire extinguishers, 4 granular balances, projector and screen, as well as 2 Van de Graff equipment.
  • Administrative Area: This area includes the reception area, the Academic Secretary's office, the School Administration, the meeting room, the Administrative Subdirectorate and the Director's Office.
  • Library: It has a bibliography of approximately 1,300 books from different areas of knowledge, 8 reading tables, 20 chairs for users, 3 computers available for consultation, 2 of which have Internet service, 1 metal bookshelf, 1 reception area and two chairs for those responsible for the area, 8 screens for cultural exhibitions, the university community has access for consultation and loan of books, in addition to being able to consult educational information and school work. Users can access the Digital Library to consult bibliographies and scientific articles.
  • Language Self-Learning Center: There are 4 tables for the reading area, 25 chairs for users, 15 computers with predetermined programs for foreign language reinforcement, 50 English language reference books.
  • Computer Center: It has 41 computers, 1 projector and screen, 1 telephone, 41 chairs for users, Internet in all computers, 21 No Break, 25 work tables. The service provided to students is to acquire computer knowledge through practice and problem solving.
  • Classrooms: These spaces are fully equipped for the adequate and effective development of students in the teaching-learning process, they have 40 table-benches, screen, blackboard, 1 teacher's desk and 1 chair.
  • Cafeteria: This area is essential for students to have a space to consume food, as well as for recreation and social interaction; therefore, there is a cafeteria that offers a diverse menu for students.
  • Warehouse: The purpose of this space is to store all raw materials, supplies, stationery and tools, in order to manage these materials for the maintenance, cleaning, services and operation of the high school.
  • Restroom module: There are 4 restroom modules, 2 on the first floor, one for men and one for women, and the same number of restrooms on the first floor.
