Name of the study plan: Bachillerato General

The curriculum is made up of a total of 50 compulsory subjects and 4 eligible subjects distributed in 6 semesters. This curriculum is general to access any area of higher education and is based on the UAEH Educational Model, with a constructivist approach, which allows students to obtain generic and disciplinary competencies that can be mobilized throughout their lives.

Rules of operation for the Propedeuticals

  1. Students must take eight propaedeutic courses beginning in the fourth semester.
  2. The distribution of the propaedeutic subjects is as follows:
    • Two subjects in the fourth semester
    • Two subjects in the fifth semester
    • Four subjects in sixth semester
  3. Students can advance propaedeutic subjects starting in the third semester.
  4. Depending on the propaedeutic selected by the student, he/she will have to take the subjects specified in each area.
