Graduation Profile

The 2019 Baccalaureate Educational Program aims to comprehensively train students who can be incorporated into the higher level, as well as participate effectively in the social, professional and political spheres; to obtain a set of knowledge, skills, abilities, attitudes and values with the intention of impacting the development of their environment.
The graduation profile of the 2019 Baccalaureate Educational Program is made up of:

  • Generic competencies: that all UAEH High School graduates must develop.
  • Disciplinary competencies: related to the five disciplinary fields.
  • Areas: according to progressive learning.

The student, upon graduation from high school:

  • Is self-aware, cultivates healthy interpersonal relationships, manages emotions responsibly, acts effectively and asks for support when needed. Has goals and takes advantage of options and resources.
  • Values and recognizes the arts as part of their integral formation. Recognizes the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle and avoids behaviors that put their health at risk.
  • Expresses clear and coherent ideas in oral and written form. Identifies main ideas in a text and infers conclusions from them. Communicates fluently and naturally in a second language.
  • Use mathematical thinking to construct and interpret real, hypothetical or formal situations that require it. Solve problems with the application of different perspectives. Argue the solution of a problem with numerical, graphical or analytical methods and develop innovations.
  • Analyze and critically question diverse phenomena, using logical and mathematical thinking, as well as the methods of science. Argues, evaluates and solves problems, develops and justifies conclusions.
  • Works in teams in a productive, participative and responsible manner, proposing alternative solutions to problems with a constructive attitude.
  • Obtains, records and systematizes information, consulting relevant sources and conducts relevant research. Recognizes diversity with inclusion and equality, understands relationships between local, national and international events. Recognizes institutions and the importance of the rule of law. Understands the importance of sustainability and assumes a proactive attitude.
  • Properly uses Information and Communication Technologies to investigate and solve problems. Take advantage of technologies to innovate.
