Mission - Vision - Objectives

Mission

To educate students integrally with knowledge of general culture, skills and values, with a critical, creative, enterprising, supportive, tolerant and committed to environmental conservation attitude, which allows them to solve real life problems, enabling them competitively to successfully access higher level studies and their social environment.

Vision

A visible, internationally recognized and accepted baccalaureate where the new curriculum is permanently consolidated and improved, with trained and responsible professors, state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, with student support programs that allow for a comprehensive education in order to fully respond to the requirements and demands of each educational program of the Higher Education Departments (DES) and colleges of this University and other national and foreign institutions with undergraduate studies.

Curricular objectives

  1. To guarantee the development of competencies, aptitudes and skills through a flexible educational program, in order to provide a comprehensive education to our students.

  2. Consolidate educational quality indicators through the implementation of an educational program that allows certification by external agencies.

  3. Implement relevant teaching that addresses real contexts through the development and use of didactic material that allows the attention and integral formation of the student in terms of knowledge, competencies, methodologies, aptitudes, attitudes, skills, abilities, values and commitment to society.

  4. Integrate Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) by working together with the collegiate bodies that teach the different subjects of the baccalaureate, implementing virtual academies in order to improve the teaching and learning processes.
