History is a social science of particular importance, since the social processes of the present are articulated on the basis of the past. Therefore, the function of history is to respond to the needs of the present, to preserve memory and to critically analyze social reality. A university has, among its many duties, that of generating knowledge and training human resources in the discipline of history.
The Master's program in History is research-oriented, focused on the student himself, who develops his skills to generate historical knowledge assuming the values and attitudes of the historian. The curriculum is flexible, guarantees a comprehensive education and promotes mobility and internationalization.
