Specialist in Interculturality, Human Rights and Transnational Studies, she obtained her Master's degree in Human Rights and Democracy from the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences in Mexico with emphasis on issues related to vulnerable groups, specifically indigenous women and Federal Programs in Mexico. She obtained her PhD in Social Sciences from the Autonomous University of the State of Hidalgo, where she continued with the theme of public policies, vulnerable groups and interculturality. She is currently a Full-Time Researcher attached to the Academic Area of Political Science and Public Administration with PRODEP Desirable Profile and Candidate of the National System of Researchers of CONACyT. She is an active member of the CONACyT LATe Thematic Network and the Network for Research and Cooperation in Intercultural Studies (RICEI).
