The Academic Area of Educational Sciences trains professionals in the field of education from a theoretical, practical and investigative perspective, from different aspects, which allows obtaining the necessary scientific criteria to assess the opportunities for the impact and transformation of socio-educational problems from an interdisciplinary perspective and within the framework of socioeconomic problems and national and international policies. The above is reflected in the requirements of the National Strategic Education Programs (PRONACES), which in particular aim to promote social inclusion and the autonomy of people through processes of strengthening literacy, civic education for peace, formal languages, scientific vocations, indigenous education and educational evaluation, among others.
