Entry Profile
If you are interested in studying the Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, you must have general knowledge of psychology or human behavior, neuroanatomy, sociology, philosophy, research methodology, statistics, English, communication and computer science, which will allow you to understand the basic fundamentals of psychology and move smoothly during your professional training. They must show interest in human behavior, an empathetic, proactive, and confidential attitude, as well as being open to criticism and to changing paradigms. In addition, they must have an aptitude for teamwork, as well as values of respect, tolerance, loyalty, responsibility and honesty.
Profile of graduates
Upon graduation from the Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo:
- You will learn to understand human behavior from different theoretical approaches, taking into account biological, psychological and social factors.
- You will be able to evaluate and analyze biopsychosocial processes of individuals, groups and organizations, using diverse methods and techniques to assist in ethical problem solving.
- You will develop skills to assist in biopsychosocial processes, focusing on prevention, care and rehabilitation of mental health of individuals, groups and communities.
- You will have the ability to design research projects and psychological measurement tools to study biopsychosocial processes, using different quantitative, qualitative or mixed methodologies, always under an ethical approach.
