NEONATOLOGY SUBSPECIALTY


OBJECTIVE:

To train pediatricians specializing in Neonatology with the medical knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for the care of healthy and sick newborns, to provide adequate medical care in the promotion, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of health and health problems of neonates, as well as to promote medical research through scientific methodology.

- Congenital malformations causing respiratory failure.
- Gastroenteritis.
- Necrotizing enterocolitis.
- Meningoencephalitis.
- Neonatal sepsis.
- Metabolic disorders (glucose calcium magnesium).
- Intracranial hemorrhage.
- Investigation I.
- Hospital administration.

- Congenital heart disease: cyanogenic-acianogenic.
- Cardiac insufficiency.
- Hydroelectrolytic imbalance.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Duration: 2 years.
Procedures: February of each year.
Starting date: March 1st of each year.
Venue: General Hospital of Pachuca, of the Health Services of the State of Hidalgo.

 

ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Medical Surgeon with specialty in Medical Pediatrics.
  • Have passed the national residency examination, or that of the hospital or the sectoral hospital (certificate).
  • Written application for admission to the course with a letter of motivation addressed to the Professor of the course and to the University.

 

DOCUMENTATION TO ENTER

  • Birth certificate, not older than 40 years old (original and 2 copies).
  • Title (original and 2 copies in reduction on both sides).
  • ID (original and 2 copies of both sides).
  • High school certificate (original and 2 copies).
  • High School Certificate (original and 2 copies).
  • Probative certificate, in case of having completed a post-baccalaureate (original).
  • Certificate of grades of the race (original and 2 copies).
  • Diploma and/or certificate of specialty studies, in case of having completed any other specialty (original and 2 copies).
  • Proof of selection in the national exam (2 copies).
  • Oficio de presentación a residencia (2 copies).
  • Resident Physician Identification Form.
  • Letter of acceptance signed by the Head of Teaching (original and 2 copies).
  • Federal Taxpayers Registry (original and 2 copies).
  • CURP original and 2 copies.
  • Original voter's credential and 2 copies.
  • Curriculum vitae (2 originals, descriptive only and signed by the resident physician, not enveloped).
  • Receipt of payment of the medical certificate (2 copies).
  • 5 child-size color photographs with full name and surname.
  • Original and copy of Medical Certificate (Issued by the University).
  • Letter of no criminal record, original and 2 copies.
  • Original military ID card and 2 copies.

All documents must be in letter size.
